This corrugated cooling tower fill media is available in 750mm and 950mm widths, with a 20mm pitch and a 90° corrugation angle. It can be produced in PVC, CPVC, or PP, with sheet length and thickness adjusted to the required packing dimensions.

For replacement fill, we often find that the sheet thickness deserves as much attention as the width. A sheet may have the correct corrugation pattern but still be unsuitable for the existing support arrangement if its thickness or formed stiffness differs significantly from the original material.

Formed Sheet Structure

The 20mm corrugation pattern gives the sheet a defined profile rather than a flat surface. This formed geometry contributes to the stiffness of the sheet, although the final rigidity also depends on material properties, sheet thickness, and manufacturing conditions.

The 90° corrugation arrangement provides a regular channel layout when the sheets are assembled. For customers replacing existing fill, the original profile and sheet dimensions can be used as references when confirming the new production requirements.

Thickness and Material Options

We offer customized sheet thicknesses because different fill assemblies do not necessarily require the same material gauge. The appropriate thickness should be selected with the finished block dimensions, support spacing, and operating conditions in mind.

PVC, CPVC, and PP are available. Each material has its own forming characteristics and mechanical properties, so the finished sheet stiffness should not be assumed to be identical across all three options.

Glued or Hanging Installation

The fill can be supplied for glued assembly or hanging installation. Glued blocks are prepared according to the specified packing dimensions, while hanging arrangements must match the tower's existing support and fixing details.

For replacement orders, we recommend confirming the original fill width, length, thickness, and installation method before production. If the existing sheets have deformed or no longer retain their original shape, the tower support condition should also be checked rather than simply increasing the replacement sheet thickness.
